Follow these steps in order. Your coding agent (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or another tool that supports Agent Skills) does the integration. You give it a sandbox key and check the result with a first paid call.

Prerequisites

  • A SolvaPay account. Create one if you don’t have one.
  • An AI coding tool that supports Agent Skills.
  • Node.js with npx.

1. Install the skills

From your project root:
This installs the released SolvaPay skills: solvapay (the router), create-mcp-app, app-integration, and pay-with-solvapay. With a skills CLI older than 1.5.7, run npx skills add solvapay/skills instead. See Use the SolvaPay agent skill for tool-specific options.

2. Give the project a sandbox key

Either run the CLI, which signs you in and writes the key to .env:
Or get a key from Console > Developers > API Keys > Sandbox keys and add it to .env yourself:
.env
Don’t paste the key into the chat. The agent reads it from .env.

3. Ask the agent to integrate

Describe what you’re charging for. Name the product, the price, and what’s free. For example:
The solvapay skill routes the request: app-integration for an app, API, or website, and create-mcp-app for an MCP server. The agent creates the product and plan, adds the paywall, and tells you how to run it.

4. Check the result with a first paid call

Run the project the way the agent tells you, then:
  1. Call the protected endpoint or tool as a new customer. You get a paywall: a 402 with checkoutUrl for an API, or a checkout link in the tool result for an MCP server.
  2. Open the checkout link and pay with the Stripe test card 4242 4242 4242 4242, any future expiry date, and any CVC.
  3. Call it again. It succeeds: this is your first paid call.
The TypeScript SDK and Managed MCP pages show this check step by step.
